*Saint George and the Asphalt Alchemist*
Saint George rode in with a shimmering blade,
To battle a dragon, or so they all said.
“The beast must be stopped!” cried the town in alarm,
But George found no peril. Just… an industrial farm?
No fire, no roars, no damsels in dread—
Just a dragon named Dax with a hard hat on his head.
He stirred giant vats with precision and care,
Asphalt ingredients perfuming the air.
“You’re here to slay me?” Dax raised a brow.
George said, “I mean… I was told to, somehow.”
But then he stepped closer, amazed by the smell,
And asked, “Wait—are you mixing asphalt as well?”
“Correct,” Dax replied, “I don’t torch or maim.
I manufacture road surfacing—high-grade, no flame.
Bitumen, gravel, emulsified art—
I’ve got ISO standards and a passionate heart.”
George sheathed his sword with a thoughtful hum,
“You’re not a threat—you’re remarkably plumb.
Let’s skip the whole fighting, no need for a spat…
You make the asphalt—I’ll handle the chat.”
And thus they joined forces, no longer a hassle,
And launched a slick business called Dragon Asphalt.
George drove the orders and handled the deals,
While Dax kept on cooking industrial meals.
Now roads stretch for miles, smooth, strong, and wide,
Thanks to a knight and a beast side by side.
So remember: some dragons don’t burn or bite
They just want your pavement level and right!

Fantastic commitment and response from Dragon Asphalt Trafford this evening.… When one of our customers called at 7PM with emergency works that needed to be completed tonight, our fantastic team pushed their dinner to one side, travelled to site, fired up the asphalt plant and had the customer loaded within an hour of the phone call. We pride ourselves on being the best in the business when it comes to quick turnarounds but even we thought this was impressive! No one does it quite like Dragon! #asphalt #trafford #surfacing

We have worked with Dragon Asphalt for the last 4 years, in this time we have been able to count on them for their service, reliability and product quality. Dragon are easy to deal with and turnaround is the best around. When other suppliers have let us down, Dragon Asphalt have reacted quickly and efficiently to open their plant and supply us at the last minute even on a Sunday afternoon!
Dragon Asphalt have supplied us with materials to service our Wales and West Utilities contract in South Wales since September 2018. I can confirm that all materials have been supplied as per specification but also to a good standard, and Dragon Asphalt have acted swiftly, professionally and in line with our expectations to rectify any concerns.
The service and quality of product we get from Dragon Asphalt is great, with the added bonus of the personal touch we get from Dragon, I would and do regularly recommend Dragon Asphalt to others.
Dragon Asphalt always have fast turnaround times and get us in and out with good quality material delivering at correct temperature’s which in turn helps us deliver good efficiency’s to site and to our customers. The option to turn up and order makes things so much easier for us as a whole and the low quantity ordering is great for the environment, with very little waste material. I would like to add that the onsite store for all consumable products and tools is a massive help.
